Conservation and hunting go hand in hand, the North American Wild Life Management Model is a fantastic example of just that. It is hunters that more than anyone else are first hand witnesses to any results of wild life management. It is through the funding mechanisms of organisations like the Safari Club International that many species have been saved from extinction, and a healthy balance has been created.
Novahunt Wild life conservation and hunting advocacy
We feel it is our duty to contribute to wild life preservation actively, in the field and in our company philosophy. It is therefore we have selected two organisations to which we contribute. You as a client can decide to which of the two charities below you want us to make a donation to on your behalf.
Novahunt has made an agreement with the Guides and Outfitters association of British Columbia, Canada to donate €500,- for each Moose bull our clients harvest in Norway and Sweden. In practise this means that 50% of all trophy fees over shot moose bulls will be donated to wild life conservation.
This program was set up on the initiative of Novahunt a/s after Marcel attended the wild life conservation symposium, organised by the GOABC in Vancouver last december.
SCI plays a big role in hunting advocacy and wild life conservation world wide. We committ to donating 10% of the hunt cost and trophy fees to the chapter of your choice when hunting with us, in case the SCI is the charity of your choice.
Those hunters that are not yet a member of the SCI can also choose to get a free three year membership through Novahunt , instead of the donation on their behalf
Please note that only 1 of the 2 charities can be donated to and that it is up to the hunter to decide which of these two charities.
We encourage charities to contact us and become a partner of our donation program
